Barcelona was a quick weekend adventure, with an early flight on Saturday and a late flight home on Sunday. Two days might not sound like much, but I was amazed by just how much I managed to fit in!
I decided to hop on the hop-on hop-off bus, which was a great way to get around and see more of the city without having to figure out every route myself. There was still plenty of walking involved, but it was worth it to explore Barcelona’s incredible architecture and soak up the atmosphere.
One of my highlights was exploring inside La Pedrera (Casa Milà), designed by Antoni Gaudí. The architecture is so unique, and seeing it from the inside made it even more impressive.
And then there was the hot chocolate! I found an amazing spot tucked away behind Casa Batlló, which was the perfect excuse to stop, take a breather and enjoy a little treat while exploring.
I didn’t manage to visit the famous Sagrada Família because I hadn’t booked tickets in time — definitely a lesson learned! It’s right at the top of my list for my next visit, because Barcelona has absolutely earned a return trip.♡
Barcelona reminded me that you don’t need weeks away to make amazing memories. Sometimes, a couple of days, a bit of planning and a willingness to explore are all you need.
And next time? Sagrada Família, I'm coming for you!🧡
